Why I chose to start a fashion blog!
Summer 2022 Basic Wardrobe Choices
It started back in April this year when my part-time job as a translator led me to attend OLED Korea Conference in Busan, Korea. I was so excited about going to an event after two years of quarantined living and 14+ years of motherhood, until I looked into my closet.
Clearly, I have a variety collection of workout apparel but...
I had NOTHING appropriate to wear.
I had plenty of leggings, bra tops, lots of comfortable clothing but anything business to business casual I had were sad and outdated. Nothing sparked joy and the pieces that seemed good enough, I had "forgotten" how to make use of them. I then realized, in my busy-ness and caring for the boys, I just didn't even have the BASICS to coordinate nice looking outfits for my every day living.
Out with the Homebody-Look
So I set out to assemble a wardrobe that not only gave me comfort and aided me to do the homeschooler mom day-to-day tasks, but to do them in STYLE. No more old, tired, worn-out looks (or yoga clothes) for this mama. All the pieces I've chosen (old and new) are comfortable yet easily coordinate-able into fashionable ensembles. Most importantly, my boys' educational financial needs are priority so everything I've chosen are, shall we say, economical.
Homeschoolers CAN make a Fashion Statement Too
I know I won't be making any heads turn on the runway but I am confident that I can help anyone, not just homeschooling moms make better choices for their closets.
