These are my basic choices. I am by no means a complete minimalist but I am always looking to declutter and help bring some ease to my busy lifestyle as mom to two boys.
Capsule Wardrobe, What is it? According to an app I using,
Capsule Wardrobe (n): a smaller wardrobe full of thoughtfully-chosen items you can easily mix and match
The key word(s) here is "thoughtfully-chosen." In the past, I don't think I really put any thought into picking out clothing. Homeschooling mothers give thought to many things related to their household and children's education but how many have set aside some time to think about what to put on every day?
Also, I am not completely limiting myself to just these items noted. I look at this capsule wardrobe as a baseline to help me get ready quickly every day as well as look good when I leave the house. I have not included some basic t-shirts, other tank tops, and sneakers but they may also be included as well. Feel free to find items similar in your current wardrobe.
Instead of rambling on and on, I will give some brief explanations to my choices. Hopefully, these explanations will aid someone to also make some good choices of their own. Most importantly and for this season in my life, I have chosen the most affordable yet decent quality pieces to represent my style.
